On Thursday 14 October 2021, representatives from Notts County Foundation attended the Nottinghamshire Live Business Awards at the East Midlands Conference Centre to find out whether the charity had won at one of the region’s most prestigious business events.
Notts County Foundation was nominated in the Not-For-Profit Organisation of the Year category, alongside the Broadway Cinema and eventual winner Maggie’s Nottingham, in an event that saw businesses from across Nottinghamshire come together and celebrate all of the region’s best and brightest individuals and industries.
Sam Crawford, Head of Business Development at Notts County Foundation, said: “Everyone at Notts County Foundation was delighted to be nominated in this year’s Nottinghamshire Live Business Awards. Throughout the pandemic, events like that just haven’t been able to take place, so it was great to have the opportunity to see some familiar faces and celebrate all of the incredible businesses and businesspeople that make Nottinghamshire so special.
“We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate Maggie’s Nottingham for winning the Not-For-Profit Organisation of the Year Award. The work they do surrounding supporting those living with cancer diagnoses is invaluable, and they are deserved winners of this coveted prize.”
