The Portland Centre is an important community facility in Nottingham – supporting those living in and around the Meadows. It’s been under the ownership of Notts County Foundation for a number of years and part of our mission is to ensure that it continues to thrive – with regular investment in its facilities and infrastructure to ensure that the local community continues to have access to the very best services.
From an in-house swimming pool and state-of-the-art gym facilities, to sizable event spaces and a sports hall, The Portland Centre is there to serve Nottingham as a place to inspire active change.
It is an integral part of the lives of many people across a range of ages and backgrounds and we want to ensure that together we protect the Centre’s legacy for generations to come.
That’s why we’ve launched a fundraising campaign to refurbish the Sports Hall floor, which is in a major state of disrepair.
We’re asking you, the public and the local business community, to back our campaign and pledge whatever you can in support of our initiative so that we can continue to deliver the very best facilities to the local community. All of the money raised will go directly into the refurbishment of the Sports Hall floor.
