As part of the collaboration, the NCFCOSA’s branding will feature prominently across the podcast, including logos, social media content, and the very sound of the podcast.

Along with visibility comes a financial investment that will help ensure the podcast’s sustainability, allowing for growth and enhanced production quality, from improved recording equipment to expanded marketing materials.

Eye of the Magpie, provides a unique platform for Notts County Foundation’s participants, staff, volunteers, and partners to share their stories. The podcast offers listeners a personal insight into Foundation’s work, whether it’s supporting mental health initiatives, promoting inclusivity in the South Asian community, or empowering local youth through sport and fitness programmes.

The NCFCOSA, founded in March 2014, has long been a key supporter of Notts County FC, particularly its academy. They raise funds for the club’s youth development and are instrumental in preserving and celebrating the rich history of the club.

“It’s a privilege to welcome NCFCOSA on board, who take great pride in serving the Notts fanbase. Their commitment to supporting Notts County and engaging with the local community aligns perfectly with our mission to make a positive difference in communities.

The Foundation and OSA are strengthening our relationship within Notts County, showing we are all one big football family.” – Josh Wing, podcast host and Marketing & Events Coordinator at Notts County Foundation

The Eye of the Magpie podcast continues to provide an insight into the heart of Notts County’s charitable efforts, and with the NCFCOSA’s support, this platform is set to grow, reaching even more people and amplifying the Foundation.

“We are thrilled to support Notts County Foundation and their brand-new podcast. Our committee sees this as a fantastic opportunity to raise our profile within the community while also boosting our membership numbers.”

“The Foundation is a highly respected organisation that does incredible work across the local area. From mental health support and sports & fitness initiatives to promoting inclusivity through projects—particularly with their South Asian community—their impact is truly inspiring. By backing this podcast, we’re not only championing a great cause but also strengthening our connection with the wider Notts County family. Together, we can continue to make a difference!” – Patricia Akers, secretary of NCFCOSA

This collaboration marks a significant step forward for both Notts County Foundation and the NCFCOSA.
