Last weekend, Notts County Foundation proudly supported sport in Nottingham as a Charity Partner for Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All Nottingham 10K, showcasing a commitment to community engagement and support for a healthier, more active city.
Despite the early Sunday morning start, five dedicated volunteers from Notts County Foundation enthusiastically took on the responsibility of helping to marshal the route, ensuring the smooth running of the event and the safety of participants. Their contribution exemplifies the Foundation’s ethos of giving back and making a positive impact on the local community.
Adding to the spirit of the occasion, Notts County Foundation’s Josh Stevenson and club staff member Etienne Callaghan took to the starting line in support of the Foundation. Both runners showcased their determination and fitness, achieving impressive sub-hour times and embodying the values of teamwork and perseverance.
Reflecting on the partnership, Notts County Foundation’s Marketing and Events Coordinator Harry Dalzell expressed his delight, stating, “We are thrilled to have been a part of Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All Nottingham 10K as a Charity Partner. It’s fantastic to see the community come together to support such a worthwhile cause, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be involved.” He went on to extend appreciation to the Run For All team for their support leading up to and on the day of the event.
Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All events are renowned for their inclusivity and dedication to charitable causes, and Notts County Foundation’s participation serves as a testament to their shared values. By joining forces, both organisations aim to inspire individuals to lead healthier lifestyles while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
