Notts County Foundation is delighted to have been named as an Employer Partner of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
CIMSPA is the professional development body for the UK’s sport and physical activity sector, committed to supporting, developing, and enabling professionals and organisations to succeed and, as a result, inspire the nation to become more active.
Venetia Sanders, Head of Commercial at Notts County Foundation, said: “We are really pleased to formally announce this innovative new partnership with CIMSPA, that will not only help to develop our workforce, but will also allow us to increase our service offering to a range of demographics within the local community – through the Portland Centre and beyond.”
The partnership will see Notts County Foundation staff benefit from CIMSPA’s ‘ReTrain to ReTain‘ initiative, which aims to provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for 50,000 people who work or want to work in sport and physical activity, support thousands of self-employed people and small businesses, and support hundreds of employers to reduce operational costs and address skill shortages.
