Notts County Foundation are pleased to announce local TV star Vicky McClure as the special guest for the Gala Dinner 2024, taking place at the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena, 11th October 2024.
Best known for her roles in the BBC series ‘Line of Duty’, ITV’s ‘Broadchurch’ and in Shane Meadows’ ‘This is England’ respectively, Vicky is a popular actress, model and presenter, born and raised in Nottingham.
Joining Vicky on stage will be the host of the evening, Mark Dennison. As part of the evening’s proceedings, Mark will run a Q&A with Vicky, discussing everything form the mental health programmes at Notts County Foundation to her own connection with the wider-Notts communities.
Vicky is a passionate Notts County Football Club fan, with her grandad being as big of a fan as they get. Many of the fanbase will also remember Vicky’s viral celebration, as she watched the Magpies score the winning penalty to land the club back in League Two, during the 2022/23 season.

Those that attended last year’s NCF Gala will remember Vicky’s Dementia choir performed and shared their heart-warming stories. Dementia awareness is a cause very close to Vicky’s heart, after her grandmother was diagnosed and later died from the disease. Whilst the choir won’t be in attendance in 2024, Notts County Foundation are excited and honoured to welcome Vicky to the Bolero Suite in October.
